I'm Anita Spero-Markowski, thanks for stopping by!
It started about twelve years ago... I found a book about teddy bear making one long and awful winter, and from that moment I was hooked! For me, making one of a kind bears is truly a labor of love. Some of you may remember me from my old shop, East Bench Bears. I took a hiatus from bear making to pursue my teaching career. Since then a lot has happened! I found true love, got married, and just had our second child! I use the best quality materials to make each bear, whether it's Schulte mohair, or Corriedale wool. I have won awards in the past for my bears, and even was featured on HGTV's That's Clever!- an old show about artists and crafters. I hope you enjoy my work- it is truly my passion!

This show page is dedicated to my beautiful, smart, talented, and creative mother. She is THE reason I create- I couldn't do any of this without her. Bears are shipped 1-2 days after receipt of payment., unless it's the weekend. Thanks for your understanding!
I happily accept returns, and want you to be happy! If you are not, please send the bear back within 12 days of purchase for a full refund. Buyer pays return shipping.
